CAS Activity-8 Reflection

My classmates and I were called upon to hone our agility as we participated in a school organized aerobics session in the middle of the afternoon, It turned out to be a surprise session, as none of had the slightest clue that we were going to be moving about on the soccer pitch.

Perhaps I should have had a slightly less heavy lunch that as I noticed I was fairly sluggish to start off. When I think of aerobics the first thing that pops into my head in a swift form of yoga of sorts, but boy was I wrong. It turned out aerobics is virtually synonymous with dance. I'm not the greatest dancer to say the least, so naturally I wasn't very confident in carrying out the moves that our dance coordinator taught us.

As time wore on I became increasingly loo

se and to my own astonishment I started dancing with some passion. Before I knew it I was a passable dancer! I entrenched myself in the rhythm of the beat and let loose. It was an eye-opening experience for me, as I had overcome one of my biggest fears, at least temporarily that is.

In short the aerobics session was a great way to blow off some steam and served as a great learning experience which I will carry with me the next time I'm asked to conquer one of my fears.Things aren't as always as bad as they seem. Take a deep breath relax and take whatever life may throw at you in stride.
